THE PLEASURE OF THE HARVEST

Mr. Alpenglow neither farms nor forages — at least not yet — but there’s undeniable pleasure in setting your ingredients out and surveying the bounty before the cooking storm begins. Here are ingredients for a caramelized onion tart with oyster mushrooms, tuscan kale salad with golden beets, pickled wax beans, and peaches and cream.
