JACK ROSE COCKTAIL 
(Savoy Cocktail Book)

2 ounces Laird’s applejack
.75 ounce fresh lemon juice
.75 ounce homemade grenadine*

Shake the ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled coupe.

*Bring 1 cup of unsweetened pure pomegranate juice to a simmer with 1 cup of sugar, stirring to dissolve. Remove from heat. Add 1/4 tsp. lemon juice and 2-3 drops of orange flower water. Let the syrup cool to room temperature. Seal and store in refrigerator for up to 1 month.
